1. Lie on back with legs together and hands by your side, palms down. Inhale, raise legs up, and bring hips off floor.
2. Support back with hands and keep elbows close together. Keeping knees straight, exhale and bring legs down behind head. If feet cannot touch the floor, hold this position and breathe deeply.
3. If feet can touch the floor, walk them away from the head. Curl toes under and push torso up and heels back. Clasp hands and stretch arms behind back. Hold the pose and breathe deeply.
4. Come out of plough in the same manner as the shoulderstand.
